Do you do custom work?

Yes! We love a challenge, we have done in-shower saunas, shower spray massagers, and  specialty tubs; for example, recently we installed a 700Lb concrete stand-alone tub!  We have even helped design and then installed an automated feeding setup for a local farm's calves.

What are your hours?

Typically, our hours of operation are 8:00- 5:00, but we will answer calls for emergencies.

Can you hook up a mobile home?

Yes! We have connected many mobiles home to water service.

Do plumbers in Indiana need to be licensed for residential work?

Yes, in fact it is illegal to perform any plumbing services in Indiana without a state-issued license.

Do I need a water softener?

In most areas of Indiana, the water is considered “hard” with a high calcium content. A water soften can be a great help to avoid calcium build up in appliances and ensure proper function of your water heater.

Do you install tankless water heaters?

Yes, we specialize in Navien Water Heater installation and service.

Do you complete new construction plumbing?

Definitely! We have worked with many General Contractors and Homeowners to take their building project from paper to a reality!

Can you help me resolve my water bill after fixing my leak?

Yes, we will give you proper documentation to reconcile your water bill with your water company.

Is Kaptains Plumbing insured?

Yes! We carry full insurance as required by law.

If needed will Kaptains Plumbing get necessary permits for the work to be completed?

Yes, of course. We will get the proper permits and schedule the inspections that are required by your county.

How long do water heaters typically last?

The average lifespan of a water heater is around 8-12 years, although proper maintenance can extend its longevity. Flushing a water heater once a year can extend its life span.
